Key Responsibilities

1. Safe and Timely Delivery

• Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods to various destinations across Dubai.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations while driving.

2. Vehicle Maintenance

• Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the vehicle immediately to the appropriate department.

3. Route Planning

• Plan the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption and time on the road.
• Use GPS and other navigation tools to assist with route planning.

4. Loading and Unloading

• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
• Verify that the correct items are loaded and delivered to the right locations.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of delivery, items delivered, and any issues encountered during the route.
• Submit daily reports to the logistics manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Valid UAE Driving License

• Must hold a valid UAE driving license, with a clean driving record.
• Experience in driving commercial vehicles is preferred.

2. Experience in Logistics or Delivery

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics or delivery industry.
• Familiarity with Dubai’s road network and traffic regulations.

3. Excellent Communication Skills

• Must have good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers.

4. Physical Fitness

• The role may require lifting and moving heavy items, so physical fitness is essential.
