Job Description:

The Charge Nurse will oversee the operations of a nursing unit and ensure the highest standard of patient care. The role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring that patient needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision of Nursing Staff:

   • Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of top-quality care.

2. Patient Care Management:

   • Oversee the day-to-day operations of patient care in the unit.
   • Ensure patient assessments, treatment plans, and care are effectively implemented.

3. Coordination with Healthcare Professionals:

   • Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.

4. Maintain Compliance and Standards:

   • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Nursing Degree: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Licensure: Active nursing license from a recognized health authority (preferably DHA, HAAD, or MOH).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or charge nurse role.
  • Experience working in hospital or clinical settings within the UAE is highly preferred.
